Our passion at First Steps is to create an atmosphere where children learn about the world around them with excitement and eagerness. We know that learning needs to be fun! Our center utilizes Creative Curriculum and each classroom is tailored to each age group’s level of learning. Our classrooms all include a library and quiet area, an area for arts and sciences, a place for dramatic play, and an area for manipulative learning.
Brand New,
State of the Art Facility
Our educational center is housed in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility that was just completed in 2020. We have over 12,000 square feet of classrooms and playrooms dedicated to meeting your child’s education and play needs. We also installed a brand new playground with all new and exciting equipment that will keep your child entertained and busy during play time.
Highest Safety Standards
Our educational center was built in 2020 and intentionally designed with the highest safety standards. The entire center and each individual classroom is monitored by encrypted security cameras that are constantly observed by our administrative staff. Our center features a high level security system and parents and visitors can only enter the center with a dedicated security code. All entrances and exits are alarmed and closely monitored. We take the safety of your child very seriously and are committed to ensuring a safe and fun place for each of our kids
Our Classrooms
Our center provides education and child care services for children from 6 weeks old through Kindergarten. Each classroom has low student to teacher ratios that allow us to focus on each individual child.
We also offer before and after school care for school-aged children. First Steps offers a summer program for school-aged children that is full of learning and fun. (Need to add more detail) (possible bullet points for each individual classroom)
Even though you may be at work, our teachers want you to feel like you were in the classroom with us! We provide daily communication to you about your child’s day. We want you to be involved-after all, we share the same goal-the success of your child.
Food & Nutrition
At First Steps Early Learning Center, we know that you are what you eat! We take pride in providing healthy and well-balanced meals to our children. Our meals and snacks are made on site and contain healthy ingredients like whole grains, proteins, fruits, and vegetables. In order to ensure that your child is being fed a well-balanced and nutritional diet, we regularly consult with a licensed dietitian to ensure we are offering the best to each child.
Our center is a peanut-free facility, but if your child has any other food allergies, we are happy to discuss with you how we can best accommodate those needs.
